Solutions
Comprehensive Solution for Hot Water Demand
Solar collector system: Our approach involves installing solar collectors on a specially designed steel structure platform above the hotel. This strategic placement ensures that the solar system consumes no additional rooftop space. In response to the client’s requirements, these solar collectors were installed in a way that were able to conceal the pre-existing rooftop pipes, allowing hotel guests to view an aesthetically pleasing array of solar collectors rather than unsightly piping and machinery. The entire rooftop array across buildings 1-7, as well as the Tianyu and Qiangzhai structures, features these flush-mounted solar collectors, which enhance the architectural beauty of the hotel, evident even in aerial photography.
Collector efficiency: Each solar collector is installed so as not to interfere with other rooftop apparatus. They function not only as energy-efficient modules but also as a visual cover for underlying pipework, ensuring that guests admire nothing but the streamlined appearance of the collectors.
Temperature-controlled solar water tank system: An integration between the solar collectors and a 225-ton constant temperature water tank system allows for the absorption and retention of solar heat. The solar system is designed to maintain a consistent hot water temperature of 48℃ (adjustable), providing a reliable supply of temperate water. This heated water is pumped into Party A's original boiler room's main hot water pipeline and distributed through the existing supply system to each guest room, ensuring a continuous flow of hot water on demand.
The solution we offered not only meets the Jiuzhai Paradise Resort Hotel's hot water needs but also maintains the integrity of the hotel's scenic view and contributes to the property's sustainable operation.
Our solar water tank system works in perfect harmony with the solar collectors, capturing the sun's warmth to heat water. The system includes a large 225-ton heating tank that receives water circulated through the solar collectors. This setup is designed to consistently maintain the water temperature at an ideal 48℃, though this can be adjusted to meet specific needs. The heated water is then distributed throughout the hotel via a pump that connects to the existing main hot water pipeline from the boiler room. This ensures that all guest rooms receive a steady supply of hot water, leveraging the existing water supply system for seamless operation.
